A Poly Year 2 student

Hi guys, i am currently year 2 and just switched from SOC Cm to SOC IS.

I have enquiries about all the UE and ULR. I transferred with full credits.

Exempted with 28 credits, 8 MCs being IS1103 and CS1010.

Cleared cores : CS2100, CS1020, MA1301, CS1231, QET(NO MC).

Used to be cores in CM : NM2101, LSM1301

UE : NM1101E

ULR : GEK1061 ( Media )

now i am transferred into IS, meaning NM2101 and LSM1301 will not be cores, can i count them as breadth?

Does this means that if i clear SS mod, i will have fulfiled the 40 MCS ( UE + ULR ) ?

Either one of the module(NM2101 or LSM1301) can be counted as breadth. The other module will be treated as UE.

Yup, just need to clear a SS mod and you will have fulfilled the ULR and UE component.

no, there is no such system.. The system to check is when you hit com4, whereby u can use the ffg system to check if you can graduate

Actually, there is but it's not sophisticated.

FFG for SOC will only show the modules you have taken so far and tell u the missing core modules. As for programs elective and others, they will only show you the no of missing mcs for each cat.

You cannot decided not to go for honours unless you transfer out of SOC all together.

You have to complete and pass everything, including the honours year modules/ (and hyp if u opted for one), in your course before you can exit the course with a degree.
