Forum nuisance will be dealt with accordingly, the block feature (if implemented) enhance the feature of personal preference rather than "self-censorship" IMHO.

This involve the developer and back end implementation, it might not be instant implementation depends on the priority and work load. Since bosssaizo acknowledge and replied in this thread, it will be a topic of discussion with other administrator and developer to evaluate the suggestion.

Earliest respond will be on Monday, if any.

User J being nuisance and Gordon blocks him.

Gordon is enforcing censorship? No, all Gordon just did was blocked user J. The rest of the whole world just able to view Gordon's content.

So, the arguing of enforce censorship is a failed reasoning.

sagu point that the equivalent of Gardon's action in the context HWZ forums is the tban or pban which the mods had rather leniently meted out to members being nuisance to other members which explains why members are requesting for more blocking censorship tools.

Users block forum nuisance because it's nuisance.

Admins/mods ban forum nuisance because nuisance violated forum T&C.

Explain What "more censorship tools" have been added?

Are you implying that moderators and administrators giving ban is a form of censorship? You are wrong, and have you read the terms and conditions?

If user SaGu wants to be at the standpoint of a troll/nuisance's privilege being taken away because of T&C against them, maybe perhaps user SaGu want to ask the troll/nuisance to self-reflect in front of the mirror first.

edmw account = account

the person identities = doesn't matter

both accounts, can do many things. Can start discussion, can do a reply.

both accounts, if violated T&C, can subject to be banned, both accounts, same.

user blocks a social media account, user blocks a edmw account, same thing.

It's Peter's threads and replies, Peter can do what he wants for this threads/replies. The admins and mods moderate his content...
