Why is the purpose of doing this test? Young children's brain is still developing and very responsive to the quality interactions of their caregivers.

Research has consistently shown the key foundation for academic success in later schooling is about self regulation and all the other social and emotional skills.

A confident and happy child with high social and emotional skill is likely to do well in school. So nurture these qualities in the early years, they are equally important.

You can try Gifted Lab http://www.gifted-sg.com/
The cost is around $750++

It will be beneficial to understand your child's ability better and source for the correct method to teach and guide.

How do you know they are gifted? Are they tested officially and in the top 2% range?

IQ test is used to identify one's potential and it gives the caregivers knowledge on where the child can maximize his potential.
