International School

Any parents of Singaporean nationality sent your child to study at international school ? Eg GESS ( German European School Singapore)

Did you get an approval from MOE ?

What made you decide to send your child to an international school instead of a local school ?

Do you think the learning experience was better for your child ?

I don't think sinkies can attend international school in SG.

At least not at Primary level because it is mandatory.

I have a friend who attended international school after O-lvl.

So long as you have approval from MOE. The question is what are the reasons acceptable to MOE.
Life is about decisions.

There are more Singaporean nationality in SJI international. You do not need approval if you enrol your child from Grade 7 onwards. Most parents who can afford prefer international schools as the child has time to be more creative and the students learn to be more independent. Students usually will be going overseas for their tertiary education so the exposure to the international scene will start earlier. Each child has their own unique experience so you can't be sure if the experience is better. If you want your child to have more space and creativity, I would suggest trying international school. Hope this helps.
