Would you consider buying insurance for your kids?

Would you buy when they're younger or wait until no tmr?

Hospitalisation better buy the day your baby turns 15 days old. Better to be safe than sorry.

One camp of people are against people who buy term/life insurance for kids because they have no dependents. Before insuring your kids, make sure parents are adequately covered first.

Within first month they were delivered we have already bought insurance plans, especially hosp plans. You can get Personal Accident plan too, very cheap, and recommended because kids get into accidents often.

Buying Insurance for your Kids

Hey there,

I am a Financial Adviser here and here's what I think you should consider:

I think the more important part is to look into properly insuring yourselves first afterall the ones that are providing for the kids are the parents. I would recommend getting the basic needs like H&S and Minimal CI coverage for your Kids, until they can start earning money for themselves.

Reason being, It will be very HEAVY on you if you want to purchase the full suite of proper coverage for your kids AND plan for your retirement not forgetting in your earlier thread you mentioned that your husband seems to be against buying Insurance for perosnal reason.

Best way to understand what you need and how to approach is to have a trustable adviser sit you down for an appointment and run through the various ways you can tackle this problem, there is a lot ways to approach such planning rather than just buying insurance for the sake of buying.

Ultimately, your own coverage is just as important if not, MUCH MORE important that your kids'.

Best Wishes
