Recently bought a vive just to play BeatSaber!

erm.. yup. cost $1K+ for the headset + the recommended audio strap, and the tripods to hold the base stations.

If you want you can give VRChat a try. I won't say that it's bad but it's more on finding friends and so on. You can be as your own favorite character if you know how to make or upload them into your account.

Choosing vive isn't a bad choice because it has more support in SG compared to the Oculus.
If you bought one in SG you should have at least 1 year warranty.

If you choose to play VRChat you might need trackers on yourself. for like bodily functions.
