My Take:

Asus Sabertooth Z97 Mark 1 is a beauty, the thermal armor is not just a fancy thing that was put on to the motherboard but a way to protect your motherboard from dust and properly put the airflow into the motherboard. The added beauty of the armor is really good to look at but will eventually get covered if you are using big chunk of heatsinks and multiple GPUs. This motherboard will set your mind at peace because of its 5 years warranty and very high quality components that is used in this motherboard like the TUF Alloy Chokes and Hi-C Caps.

One thing that Asus is really famous of is its BIOS, the sheer number of options to tweak your motherboard is outstanding. Though I did not see where to manually set the multiplier aside from the boost multiplier. The BIOS is very intuitive and very user friendly but also it does not compromise the tweakability of the BIOS as you can go to the advance mode.

So I highly recommend this motherboard if you want reliability and performance.
