Just buy from taobao. Save the hassle of travelling to JB.

Hi experts,

My bettas usually only survive an average of 6 months.

I change 50% water every 3 - 5 days.
Each betta is living in a 3L tank with 2L of water.
I am using seachem betta basics to condition the water right before adding the betta.
I add salt when I change the water.
I feed them once a day.
I add ketapang liquid when I change the water.
However I do not siphon their waste between water changes.

Can experts here please advise?

Thank you.

I put 1kg of salt for 1 ton of water for 0.1%
So for 2L u looking at 2g

De-chlorination also take a while to work.
Did u leave the water to stand for a while?

Usually I donít leave the water to stand. Iím under the impression that it works immediately.

0.15% is max for most plants before they die
Under 0.1% is still ok
