Yes. Fire shrimp is also Cherry shrimp. It is a different grade of Cherry shrimp in terms of redness.

Most places i have been dont really carry "Cherry" shrimps. If you see Fire shrimps and then the real Cherry shrimps, i think you would choose Fire shrimps.

Fire shrimps cost more than Cherry shrimps.
if your water condition is good, some cherry will turn into Fire.
give it a try.

just a guide this is 4-5 yrs back from proper local maker ( i didnt ask CR to quote this)

12mm all 4ft x 2ft x 2ft (H) Braceless tank $480

normal glass.

Upgrade front panel 4ft x 2ft 12mm to crystal glass add $320

Maybe go up or go down in price not too sure.

But with bracing thickness can go down so might be alot cheaper.

Personally my tank all braceless...(thou now monster fish,...need put glass cover on plastic supports)

actually what you intend to keep in this 125L tank?
the bio load will determine what type of setup to use.
Just a small community tank.

Looking at 6-8 Corys. Around 12 Tetras or Danios. Thinking of a showcase fish - perhaps a small German Ram or maybe Dwarf Gourami.

Oh my!

What's so good about this Crystal Glass? Haha.

Won't the silicone deteriorate with braceless tanks? Surely there's a lifespan.

looks like a planted tank setup to me.
if that is the case, i suggest you get a 3x1x1 tank with a canister filter will do.

Some of the fish are seasonal though. I was thinking a 2-3 cm max size fish will let me stock more. Schooling looks nice.

Ya, checked few places don't carry cherry shrimps. In the end bought fire Red at East Ocean just now, was told stock will be in few days later.
