Won’t break but those plastic are cumbersome and is to hide ugly silicon

And hard to buy after market accessories due to those plastic

*maybe I explain further for example

Some U shape elbow attachment for canister some cannot be used do to the wide black plastic part to support the cover. So end up need use 2 L elbows and such

After market accessories such as filter and light can buy from taobao easily
Been there done that

What i dislike about 3 in 1 tank is no customisation of filter type and light allowed after beginner level.

Another issue is cleaning of algae, the corners are difficult to clean. And removal of filter is not easy for bbfa fat hands too

I bought a tank like this for shrimp, then realised I can't dismount the filter.

Chose the tank because I wanted a lid to stop my cats from jumping into the tank (trust me they will). I have added a sponge filter so OK if the inbuilt filter knocks out, but not so sure about the light.

After much anticipation, one of my guppy lady finally gave birth le. I only have 2 big 1 small female. But because its quite a small flat container (tray) , so the challenge is big how to evacuate the fries before the females eat them. Spotted 6 and took them out, which I am sure there should be more but eaten. :'(
Thought it might be safe to put them in the self sustain small container which only have males. OMG its so wrong, males may not eat them, but they are fierce towards small fries! Saw 1 gg after a while, the other 5 MIA dont know eaten or hidden somewhere. Hopefully a week later they can survive and appear.

Small container though there are anacharis for hiding, i think its still too difficult for the fries to survive from the hungry post pregnancy mother... Fingers crossed the few survived are females, then I can boost gender ratio. Either way I need to find space to put a proper tank so I have less of the above problem...

This tank will be good for basic, but eventually you will grow out of it bah? I had something like this when I rear a betta. I won't blame the tank, but rather I screwed up with plants bought from LFS. But i find the built-in accessories a little in the way and waste space. Rather get a bare tank, then add whatever you need.

water line should be above motor or motor may risk spoiling

I change to this because the goldfish grow bigger and add in numbers after they lay eggs so i need bigger tank..
but i don't think i will go more bigger than this.. my 6y/o toddler can sit inside the tank liao ..
really hard to reach and clean the dirt inside and the weight.. really omg..
100kg water + the weight of the tank..
i cant even push the table at all..

water line should be above motor or motor may risk spoiling
Means i damaged the motor alr when i testing ytd.. hahahha

You can drain out the water first, then move the tank, just make sure the fish is transferred to a pail with the tank water
