I am thinking of registering exam before 24 aug. Which cost US$1125 from Kaplan. And then purchase the Essential Self Study Package SG$700 to study.

So total cost abt SG$2k.

Planning to study it along with my final year finance studies. As i see some similar topics covered in school. Should be sufficient right? Mainly I foresee myself keep practising the MCQ questions from the package provided.

Hi all.

I just decided to impulse register for the CFA Level 1 exams for June 2012. USD1090 for the print version. I don't know if I did the right choice.

I have heard abt Stella books and all that thru this thread but am not sure what is it. What are the things to take note of? When will be books be sent to me?

I am self studying but I don know where and how to start. I have strong accounting background as I am an ACCA holder. WHat do I need to do?

Please advise. I am very serious on passing this first round and I want all the advice I can get. What other materials I can get too?

Either you study the printed materials or get study guide. There are some people who passed using the printed materials.

Go get schweser Q-bank. It will help.
