you cannot just download the various CSC firmware and flash, they are all the same. whats different is the csc code that has been set on your phone.

To change csc code, enter *#272*IMEI# into phone dialer and select sales code.

Choose XSP from there and your phone will reset to factory settings.

1 more thing besides this. On the first start up after flashing, start it without your sim card. After setup then insert sim card.

Not true. I always put my sim first before setting up phone from scratch with all those setup menus, still using xsp.

Sim card has no role in determining sales code as it is predefined out from factory.

When you flashed xsp firmware and first start up after factory reset without sim card, most likely you will get xsp xsp xsp. My set is a non telco set but my first start up is with my starhub sim. It shows sth sth xsp. Explain that. Thanks.

I'm using non telco set too. Set it up using Singtel sim and now it's still running xsp/xsp/xsp.

I don't think I have the obligation to tell u why, do I? :D

Hope u didn't flashed a $1k samsung phone
This would mean your warranty is broken, samsung pay couldn't be used. All warranty coverage repairs are now not covered

so much arrogance there.. tsk tsk tsk.

at the very least, the developers there know the difference between network locked phones and carrier unlocked phones.

perhaps now you should be at least a little concern why you are running STH/STH/XSP bah.. good luck! :D

I already know the reason why. Tested and proven. But looks like you got another explanation about it but didnt say anything about after all. But good luck in finding what went wrong with yours.

By the way, you think all developers in xda using carrier lock phones? Haha. Those good developers since note 1 always comes up in terms of development for unlocked phone first. If you have been in there since note 1, you will know of a few famous and recognize developer. Go find out before talking about carrier/telco locked/unlocked phones. :s13:
