is this normal for a genuine Alcantara case for Samsung S8?

the sides fade after less than 3 months of usage. is this normal?

Wearing of the colors is to be expected from these cases. Sweaty hands would only accelerate it too.

The case is STAIN resistant but the color can wear off.

just want to confirm, because my Surface Pro is also using Alcantara on the keyboard but there is no such issue even after prolonged usage.

i dont think its color fade. more like your dead skin stuck in the pores of the case to me. try washing it
