Mine has some GPS issues when using LTE. 4G data will disappear totally (no 3G as well) when LTE is on. Perfectly fine when phone is forced to use 3G only. On Singtel. What gives?

To be exact. The problem lies with the emmc chip. Which is the memory drive. Alot of users already had that chip died on them. And due to how the chip is placed and fixed on mobo, theres no way to just change the chip. So the only way is change the whole mobo.

Just let it die ba.

Hi bro sorry to dig up old thread. How much does it cost to change the SIM card connector and the consult fee?

Called up Mobile City at Sim Lim Sq. They said it's most probably a motherboard problem - quite common with Note 4.

They anyhow say you anyhow believe meh?

They said that because the sim card slot is soldered onto the board, and changing the board for you is easier and lucrative for them.

There are some peeps who replace the slot for u with manual soldering, cheaper but less reliable..

Initially I thought it was a SIM card fault but I swopped phones to try and it was fine. The problem lessened when I used 3G instead of 4G.
