DXO mark is broken. Their tests are skewered so much over 100 now. You legitimately think DXO video ranking is valid after what I’ve shared?

The problem with DXO is.

They adjust their weight age according to new things like zoom and Bokeh which is why P20 got so high even tho the camera is just average. Something older phones no not have as Primary features. Zoom made P20 Pro score so well.

manufacturers have figured out how to score well in DxOMark. Looking at other tests, it's not too difficult to figure out which aspects are the focus of the company's attention, like zoom and bokeh as I mentioned, as well as contrast and sharpness.

Important factors such as wide lenses, black and white photos and RAW format are not considered in the running, although they are important for the photographic quality. Because these important aspects don't carry that much weight in the scoring, good cameras are unable to score highly, and manufacturers are paying attention only to the factors that are rated, and could even be using software that DxO sells itself to analyze cameras.

DxOMark is not an NGO: it's not just a camera analysis company. The main activity of the company is consulting for companies that work with cameras, so the tests and ranking are nothing more than an advertisement for their own primary service, which is to advise hardware companies to improve their cameras. Do companies that receive advice from DxO get better places in the ranking?

I rather not. But yeah there are still many things DXO really didn’t cover. Take what I consider the two TOP phones. Pixel 2 XL and the iPhone X

IPhone 4K recording at 60 fps and 1080p at up to 240 fps for smooth slow-motion effects. The Pixel 2, by comparison, offers no slow-motion 4K mode and 1080p is limited to 120 fps.

Let’s also not forget the iPhone X’s front-facing TrueDepth camera which enables Animoji; body and face detection; and ‘portrait mode’ selfies. And then there’s Apple’s popular ‘Portrait Lighting’ mode which enables studio lighting and creative background effects to be created in camera.

Where to see Oneplus demo sets and buy?
No demo sets. These awesome phones are not sold by telco.

Purchases are usually made online like Q10. Lazada or by phone shops.

$1550 is a cut throat price.

no phone shud be price more than $1200 imo. lest the innovation of the phone is speical and one of the kind in the world. else no.

its just a same old slight upgraded device from the previous phone.

i have 2 line to recontract, thought of waiting for note 9, but even with recontract, its still gonna be expensive for a recontract plan.

think i better look at other phone for now.
lol 1.5k for it ???

if dun need spen, think get mi mix 2s better...half the price.

if really wanna spend 1.5k , might as well get iphone new models.

at least after 1 year of usage, u wanna trade in for new models, then value is still higher than any android flagships.
