Not much upgrade from my view.
Screen and speaker might be the biggest win over huawei. No SD845 for SG version as well. by end august, huawei might fully release her Mate 20 pro spec and price.
Might as well get Note8 or Mate20 Pro.
1TB storage seems enticing, but in SG, we change phone like change tyre. Bug storage is almost useless here. Who the hell use so many storage in 2years?
Lastly, the rear fingerprint scanner is a big dumb issue. They just trying to milk people with all this stupid things they did. Huawei might release In screen fingerprint scanner way early than them.

Nothing really surprise lol. It's like Note 8s rather than Note 9 to be honest.

Umm, write Notes, translate, screen capture, magnify? I dun use it like everyday but it's useful when needed.

I know it is possible to do these without spen too but it's all personal choice.

Why would someone choose note 9 over s9, serious question
I guess if you are not into S-Pen, then S9 will fit your needs. It was the same reason why I chose Note 8 over S8. I can do screen writing or cropping etc much easier with a pen.

Samsung only use SD in US market. And maybe China. The rest of the world always get the Exynos variant

I'm a note user. Been waiting for this note 9 rather than getting note 8 since April. But I would say it's disappointing.

1) s pen, - new features, but no really neccessary and exciting.

2) huge storage - no point. One should do housekeeping at all times.

3) fingerprint sensor relocation - nothing to brat about.

4) inboard Dex - does anyone even uses this?

End day, I think I will still go get note 9 even though I'm not particularly excited. That's because I'm a sucker for new gadgets.

You can buy a laptop at this absurd price!
Gonna skip the Note 9. For what is basically is a Samsung S9+ with just the S-Pen. S9 sales suffered because of the mismatch in price, the Note 9 will suffer the same fate.

Anyway, good luck Samsung.

My i3 laptop cost me 700...

Umm, actually what else will make you "not disappointed"? Almost all the best options available are packed into Note 9 already, I can't really think of any major change that can occur in a smartphone anymore.

My Surface Pro was $1,200 for a full fledged i5.
Anyway, looks like I will be hanging on to my U11+ for longer than going back to Samsung. Unless street prices are around 1200-1300 for the 128GB. Otherwise forget it...
