By the way, is there any problem that can back up the whole phone and after rooting/flashing ROM, just restore everything and all will be back to the previous setup with the apps?

Aka like the iTunes restore?
Titanium Backup.

demand is so high i think samsung sgp is not bringing in alot of stocks also

It is not really demand high in singapore vs other countries..it is never bring in enough stock.

If they bring in quantities like iphone...you will feel that demand not high enough.

Singapore priorities of allocated stocks are always very low...due to small population.

Hi All,

Appreciate your feedback on the galaxy note.

Is the colour black or is it blue??? About to order one from overseas but its stated as blue??? Just want to be sure as the few local display sets (dummies) I saw were white, so I have no idea

Before I get mine & figure out for myself..... appreciate some feedback as to whether the performance in stock form is faster/snappier than the SGS2? ( I prefer to leave it stock & unrooted like my SGS2 if the performance is relatively lag-free)

Thanks

Not really games but I just did a big hassle of shifting all my calendar and wife's calendar into the iCloud. It is really going to be a big hassle to redo the calendars+task from iCloud to Google. My main computer is a iMac and my "netbook" a Macbook Air...

So I guess I will continue holding on to two phones for the moment.

Noob question. Rooting the phone will not reformat the phone?

I want to root the phone but I am worried about redoing ALL the apps and settings again...

Bookmarking this. I want to get a Note as well.

Primarily using it as a smartphone + learning tool for Japanese language.

Just want to check, can the phone input Japanese IME?

Edit: I still using my old thrusty e63
