No problem. Hope you enjoy your Note as much as most did.

Thanks, Drsn444, I started scrolling the thread from the 100-odd page and found this.

reinstall usb driver over new kies version, connected and updated 2.3.6 KL3 firmware, turned unrooted.
Now, bottom right L-corner (3+3cm- 1-cm border), touch totally cannot sense, cannot use phone.

Digging out warranty, go service tmr.

(fear not, my stock note originally already not too sensitive at bottom corner, now worse and bigger area only.
Shoud be no problem for perfect phones)
Try This:
1. Downgrade to DXKL1 using Odin then root with CF-Root-SGN_DX_XSP_KL1-v5.0-CWM5.zip.
2. Use Mobile Odin Pro, open file DXKL3, Kernel portion choose CF-Root-SGN_XX_ODD_KL3-v5.0-CWM5.zip. (use tar format)
3. Start flashing

I rooted mine using this method but the kernel is ODDKL3 instead of DXKL3. Maybe need chainfire to create DXKL3 CF-root.

Is it healthy for my phone and battery if I let it charge overnight when I'm sleeping and disconnecting it only after I wake up?
it should auto cut off the charging when it's full, so there shouldn't have the case of over-charging. but there is one thing, the battery cannot be fully empty or drained, it's bad for the battery.

how to update via kies? I failed 3 times using OTA, and when I connect up via kies to my PC, there's nothing telling me to update. My phone still reflects 2.3.5...

Touchme, my problem on the right seems to require me to press twice to work. Issit the same for yours ? I'm hoping that it will be going away by tomorrow. Hahaha.. Or have you tried a hard reset ?
Hard reset means factory reset/clear data?
I doubt I do that, cos when new on stock/unrooted already has touch sensitivity issue. Suspect its hardware problem, made worse by software.

lol

I am a MioHome bundle user, so I can buy a new handset every year without the need to pay extras..

but if go to their website they will recognize this anot ah i wonder and also how they verify corporate plans ?
The mio bunder user usually can ask for early recontract.. But will be much better if you go to singtel shop personally in the piority queue. Are u their vip?

Okay.. mine seems to be more likely a software issue. Waiting for Chainfire to come out something new before deciding whether to head for the service centre. Kinda tough to go without a smartphone for days now.

There will be a 1 hand operation option in the keyboard and languages after upgrading to 2.3.6. However the option is for the Samsung Keyboard only.
