Ok here's my pet peeve.

Overall i am quite happy with the phone and it definitely triumphs the fruit phone.

But i find the typing predictive text very difficult to use and definitely less user friendly than fruit phone.

Is there any way to correct this?
Try Swiftkey Tablet from Market.
It's the closest to Apple's kb in terms of prediction and speed.
I suppose you are a "Apple style" speed typist like me, so choose "Rapid" when they ask what kind of user are you.

If you want even better predictions, link it to your social accounts. Then use it for a few days to allow Swiftkey to learn the way you type. You can go settings and observe your typing heatmap... then maybe you can correct yourself from there also.

Probably wasnt aware that 3rd party keyboards can be installed and used in place of the default, unlike on the iPhone.

Jailbroken iphone can change keyboards too actually...
Not on the scale like Android does of course...

It's alright, most of the "alternate" keyboards are usually layout differences anyway.

And most of them were done by the jb community, so usually the underlying engine is more or less the same (based on Apple).

When I first jumped to android, I was pretty much amazed at the variety of keyboards that were easily available, although that was the time in which I was having a hard time switching my typing style, until I tried Swiftkey X during the 10 cents sale....

Lithium battery has a protection circuit inside to prevent overcharging. It probably charged fully, then cut off the current to trickle charge. It will only charge again when it goes below a certain threshold.

Overcharging a lithium battery will... Explode.
