Hi all,

May someone suggest some convincing reason to switch from ip4s to note?

I have been on iphone since 3>3gs>4>4s. Had a small break in between as i'm tempted to try out android. The one and only last and bad experience was with HTC Incredible S. It wasn't what i want and i switched to 4s within 6 months.

Is it a good option to replace iphone+ipad combination?

Well, the reason i like note coz of it's big screen, huge battery and the "2in1" function. But i'm afraid to do the switch yet as it might turn out to be another disappointment. My nature of job is self-employ salesman =) if it matters.
i've never looked back since S2. same like you, i was on 3G>4, never on 4S cos i find siri dumb. switched to S2 and realized what i've been missing. alot is afraid to switch is jus becos they are used to apple, once u made the switch u will never look back.. thats what i feel.

i have an ipad though. im on S2, note and ipad2.
maxokw and elsonhowx like this.

there are dozens of batteries ranging from $5-$50. i guess what u pay for is the confidence. There's just no way to tell they are honestly good our inferior. General rule of thumb, dun get those that try to imitate the real thing.

i settled with 3 PCs of us$8 oem (yellow/orange label) batteries, and am please with it's 90% performance. With 2 battery chargers, and easily removable case without faceplate, never had to stay plugged in or docked. Happy with freedom.
Can you me the link to purchase that battery.

Thanks

nvr believe in home button as it's designed flushed to prevent accidental press. I am more concerned that the sinking button is due to soft motherboard or bad spring.

seems like price has dropped 30% since i ordered 3 mths ago. us$15..stick to the yellow/orange label battery (got imitation of oem, i no pao). Order another $3 universal charger. At home, 2 chargers always charging, go out with 1 spare battery in wallet, settles yr 12 hrs out, 12 hrs home, heavy use. No need wired charge anymore.

I already got 1 spare battery + 1 desktop charger both original(both from webby boy)

Wondering this orange label battery can use for the desktop charger

This orange label battery can last how long usually ?

Mine original can last about 8 to 9 hours with active usage.

same battery power can charge in dock. In this case, u need one battery only, since dock charging is 3 hours only. Universal takes 12 hrs. Performs 80% of original, so far no degradation after 3 months.

Hmm... if possible, go get another oem battery from ebay (sent from Korea - fast delivery - less than 10 days arrive in sg) which cost around $30+..

The desktop charger charges much faster - around 3hrs per to fully charge..

e.g - NEW Genuine Samsung GALAXY NOTE GT-N7000 I9220 Standard Battery 2500mAH | eBay

Hi! all. May i know how can i arrange my SIM card contacts in Alphabetical order? my SIM card was previously used on an iphone 3GS. recently changed it onto the galaxy note but noticed that my contacts are not in alphabetical order. Also infront of every contact there's this '1/' thingy. i have not copied my sim contacts onto the phone & would prefer not to. Also how can i backup my note? Previously when i used iphone, i used itunes to backup my phone. now not sure how to backup using android.
Can anyone help?

I don't think there's anyone else with the issue of sim contacts not in alphabetical order. Mine are sorted correctly seeing from the dialer/contacts app.

Somehow or rather you have to remove the 1/ characters from each sim contact, then maybe they will be sorted correctly.

And define what on the phone you would like to backup.
