a few qns for this android noob here

1)I've sync all my gmail contacts numbers to my note already..so is my contacts currently stored in the phone or sim card?

2)I'm using the native fb app and not socialhub. If there are any changes in my contact info like birthdays or display picture, anyway to update the contacts info in my note?

1) They are just google contacts synchronised and stored on your phone. But they are not phone contacts.

2) look under the preferences of the fb app, there's an option to synchronise fb contacts with phone/google contacts.

battery life is quite ridiculous.... i watched about ten mins of video at brightness 10% and the batt went down by 10%... left it to standby another 20 mins, 5 % more gone.... is this normal?

Is there somewhere where I can buy the Mugen power extended battery locally?

Not sure about videos, need to do some tests.... and your resolution/bitrate, etc all play a part in how fast your battery drop.

20 mins lose 5% batt is not normal. Are you rooted?
Install cpuspy/betterbatterystats/batterymonitorwidget to get a better understanding and information on your battery consumption.

20mins-5%
400 mins- gone!

LOL....zhun boh? Note's battery is bad, but it can last me half a day with spare 10% on heavy 3G usage eg. surfing on train, in campus, at macdonald's etc..

But its true, I do not dare to go out without my phone fully charged.

Has anyone tried the radio? I noticed that it has the recording function but there is a cap on the volume loudness at 70%. Very soft imo. Not sure why it evenhas a cap on recording.

-______-

Edit: no its cap at 50% loudness not 70%. Can't hear no sh!t!

Based on S2 charging from zero takes 3.5 hours on a 1650mah. And note only takes 3hours from zero on a 2500mah.

I'm grining while charging.
