Cool

As long as there's market and people keep buying it, Samsung will always dumps it to those market. Just like UK, the note 20 ultra pre order there is beating the Note 10 pre order even though it's exynos. Higher price + Exynos doesnt stop them. what a bunch of rich people there.
I think this is a little unfair to them too.

Perhaps it's easiest to see it this way: They are presented that option without fuss, or they could jump through a few hoops to get the Snapdragon for themselves - paying import dues, sourcing, foregoing warranty and Samsung Pay privileges etc etc,

Spoiler!

So much discourse on how others spend their money...

Not unlike those who dismiss the expensive, yet inferior versions, of cars here in Singapore.

Just adapt to how things are where you reside. If not happy or perceive that you can get better value, then buy through resellers the "superior" stocks as many here have done or go through the parallel importers as many car buyers are wont to.

After all, the phone will only used for one year or ~18 months before being tossed aside for the next shiny flagship upgrade, no? Why split hairs over a passing fad?

hihi. those who bought Snapdragon set. Would you recommend the US single SIM or HK dual SIM? price difference is about $200 quite significant, wonder why.

also, those using local exynos set... honestly how is it after 7 months? i think the most intense game i will play is honkai impact 3 and genkai impact

I'm using local exynos S20+. It's ok if you're not too demanding user. Day to day normal surfing, light gaming is fine. But start doing more demanding task like gps navigation, taking lots of videos and photos, and the battery drain is really scary.

I would say overall the phone is acceptable to last about a yr, but I will definitely upgrade if I get the chance (now eyeing the S20 FE which has the SD processor with local warranty and Samsung pay rewards)

Love it. No issues.

Battery never bothered me. When WFH, have multiple charging points at home. When out, I use Google maps for GPS & have the phone plugged in during the journey.

Not a "phone gamer"...so cannot advise on that.
