I used the Samsung web's online chat to find out the price to repair for s7 lcd. was quoted $340. but was told go down and find out the exact charges.

bros here, would there be diagnostic charge even when i still have my warrenty covered?

1 more qn, would samsung lend u a spare phone while your phone is under repair?

If I'm not wrong, there isn't any fee involved if its under warranty, apart from the parts you changed. I'm not sure if its still the current practice.

You can request for a phone for loan, but it's up to them to issue you depending on availability. Moreover, it might not be s7 series..

looks like need to go down to ask them again.

i think they will still collect $32.10 upfront for diagnostic to check with tempering, if its all good, they will deduct that amount from the total cost.

my phone is still in warranty when i was quoted that amount

The diagnostic fee is a big turn off...

For all the wildly differing prices, I think have to factor in the following:

1) On Concierge service or not
2) Phone under warranty or not
3) Discount offered by staff (they have some discretion it seems)
4) Luck of the draw - i.e. which staff you get

By the way. After u repair there is no warranty anymore

The was no mention of discount. probably need to get queue number and allow the staff to assess your phone first. (and verbally check if there is any staff promo) i didnt continue as i was not willing to pay this price.
