Words 365 unable to start

Hi,

Recently had this problem where Words 366 is unable to start. It crashes immediately when I double click on the Word icon or document icon.

Excel and Powerpoint are working fine.

I tried starting Words in Safe mode. Cant. Crashes too.

I uninstall and reinstall the entire Office 365 twice. Same problem persist.

Anyone can help?

Have you tried Office Repair or Uninstall/Reinstall Office ?

Solution 1 - Microsoft App Crashing
Refer to post by Dennis Villalobos
Delete these lines from regedit :

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\Licensing\CurrentSkuIdForApp
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\Experiment
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\ExperimentEcs
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\ExperimentTas
Solution 2 - Office 365 programs: Application unable to start correctly
Skip the sfc /scannow

Solution 3 - Office Applications crash or cannot start
