Fingerprint sensor issues with Xperia 5?

The fingerprint sensor on my x5 seems to be faulty. I can't unlock using it. There's no fingerprint logo on the lockscreen. The fingerprint manager is missing from the settings page

Don't have? Means likely spoilt and lost connection already. Need repair. Try pc companion to repair and see first then if not then likely go service center.
