Actually, I am not 100% sure of my holdings. Btw, is this shown somewhere on the annual rebates/dividend slips?
Yes, your shares holding/dividends, ntuc purchases/rebates are shown on slip. I received slip last week. Check your letterbox

Received the Fairprice slip yesterday.

Total shares, 1,258.
So it was 1000 at the start, plus 258 bonus shares accumulated along the way.
Dividend was $94 (7.5% yield!), the rest was rebates for purchases.

Like hendrylbh, I had also wanted to buy more shares those days, but the maximum allowed was 1,000.

The explanatory notes stipulated that non-unionised members who join after 1 May 1993 will pay a $40 membership fees.

But still you can't hold them over your dead body

They will buy back from you at par value - you can't transfer the shares to your beneficiaries nor sell to third party.

So can we elect to sell back to them at any time?
If one knows one is living on borrowed time, then that's the
sensible thing to do for obvious reasons.

hahaha, at least I continue to earn 7.5% or more dividends ($x,xxx) until the end, and let my beneficiaries claim back the money, it is capital ($xx,xxx) + bonus shares ($x,xxx), hahaha, that's for NTUC INCOME Shares, ntuc fairprice shares not much lah, hahaha
