How you all acutely do the transaction?

Short them or change SGD to USD/EUR then start pairing USD/EUR?

Cheers.

u talking in terms of Interactive Brokers?

most people who trade forex using CFD platforms or accounts.. u only need to top up SGD And the platform will convert everything automatically when u place a trade using SGD..

I using Interactive Brokers so.. yeah.

Imagine i change SGD to USD.

Then when see a sell chance, for USD/EUR

I change all, then now i have all EUR, and i have to wait till a good price to buy USD again.

How does it actually work?

What you're doing is just 1:1 ratio non leverage 'trading'. Just like how I punt physical notes trading via Ah Neh money changers for the past 20 years.

You will have to open a proper Futures/Forex account with local or overseas brokerage to conduct Forex trading on margin which is a different ball game. See my signature.

Most punters will lose money in Future/Forex because you need to have a strategy and stick to it. Firstly your heart condition must be healthy. Some see position only drop 100 pips already chua sai like chua sai boy hahahaha.

I wish you all the best in Forex trading because long term wise can make money if you know what you are doing. Stocks and bonds are very risky if default/bankrupt sure hong kan liao.

Post Fed Funds Rate

Take note of swap interest after each Fed rate hike.

Interest rate differentials will widen as most majors are stalling their rate hikes as their economic recovery are at least 2 years behind USA.

Fed's target is to hike until it reaches 3% earliest by 2019 subject to economic and employment conditions.

Current rate is 1.75%. After today's rate hike it will be 2%. This is the indicator that I have been warning everyone. The implosion point has come. The defaults are coming liao.

Frankly speaking Forex/Futures are speculative in nature. Not suitable for long term investors unless they are using Forex for hedging purposes.
