my condolences. When was the 60 purchased made? Early this year or last month? As this is within the 1 year timeframe, why INTC and not AMD?
If the outlook gets weaker, does it make sense to avg down?

There are many examples where big corporation with smart people and they driven the company into the ground. Why smart people in Nokia stuck to Symbian OS until it was too late? Made the worse decision by choosing Windows Phone OS instead of Android. Motorola, the creator of cellphone ? Apple almost died until Steve Job came back. IF Ryzen 4000 OEM is successful, Intel desktop is in trouble. IF threadripper is successful, Intel's server business is trouble. Both make up 85% of Intel's revenue. Fred not. AMD had been in the driver seat before but they always ended in the ditch. :o

it's a downtrend until 2022 at least

how do you fight amd when amd is already producing 7nm

it's likely that amd will produce 5nm before intel will produce their 7nm

Intel seems to be still Profitable as a Company.
But AMD biting into their profits and no new competitive product from them.

Unless you planning to hold to 2023 until their 7nm come outs.
Otherwise might be better to reinvest.

AMD only didnt announce there new product if not share keep going north...:s13:

those that bought AMD share already earn a cut from selling now. now it time to wait.

intel is not manufacuring chip as from the news.

https://www.bloombergquint.com/busi...- Intel Corp.,Not manufacturing its own chips.

May not necessary be bad news.
All Of AMD's 7nm Processors are Manufactured At TSMC.

Intel still barely holds the edge in per-core performance.

AMD uses 7nm.
Intel uses 14nm.

I don't believe if Intel let TSMC manufacture 7nm CPU for them,
they won't crush Intel.

The problem lies in TSMC as Middle Man.
Just nice TSMC will now have alot of free manufacturing capacity without Huawei.

It could be workable.
:s12::s12::s12:

Edit:
I am Neither Intel nor AMD.
I waiting for ARM to be public listed again.

Current Flagship ARM CPU Quadcomm SD865 costs smartphone makers alone for USD$80!
I expect ARM to crush and replace x64!

Just giving my 2 cents.
:s12:
I already say liao, I am betting on ARM.
:D

In theory, if Intel can go 7nm with third party manufacturer TSMC,
they should be able to crush AMD.

In other news,
TSMC maybe can consider buying liao,
for those who have some extra monies lying around.

sounds like AMD is producing 7nm chips themselves?
