Question regarding SCB online trading

so i just opened an online trading with SCB.

inside my online banking, i have these -
Securities settlement account
FCY securities settlement account (for all the different currencies)
and Securities trading account

so to be able to purchase stocks in the SGX,
i will need to transfer money from my savings account into the "Securities settlement account"?
which will fund the purchases of the SGX stocks?

thanks.

Interest Rate

Does anyone know what is the interest rate if I keep money in the Securities Settlement Account? I received interest payment on 31 Jan and I'm curious to know. Maybe I can park more funds there if interest is good. lol
