Was talking to my colleague about this "strange phenomenon". 15 years ago I also worked until no day no night, and yet my pay was so low, not to mention increment and bonus. Then there is the ever present risk of retrenchment. I was with ST Elect in the beginning, but switched jobs several times. Now my work is not as demanding, and weekends and evenings are really mine. Yet I draw a higher pay, with good increment and bonus.
Wow nice leh.

Their benefit V jialat. Heard that the higher up has no time to process him from contract Base to full time Base.

Just heard got pay increments throughout the company. Up quite abit.

I think my old team of 12 back in the late nineties is left with only 1. About half, including me, left for the private industry (but still in Engineering). 3-4 joined DSO, which is our partner/customer, with better pay and benefits. 1 left the Engineering field altogether. How to build up expertise like that?

every month chiu contribute 10% of salary to the Staff Share Scheme (SSS) and the scheme administrator (DBS) will purchase shares using the total pool money.

the SSS ish not individual base but on a company wide basic.

if there ish dividend, chiu also entitled to chiu shares of dividends based on the total amount of unit chiu had.

it ish as good as "pension" fund but chiu can withdrawn any time.
peacefulday and Genosis like this.
