it depends on which branch you do your application. and also depends on the RM that attended to you.

I think this system still have bugs based on my recent experience..

There is a stock where I Q 2 times but cancelled on Friday. I made sure that there was no Q on Monday. Alas.. suddenly that Stock of 10Lots appeared on my screen as filled.. I called CS but they say doesn't appear on their screen. Strange thing is that I cannot sell They asked me to take a screen shot and I sent to them and CC the name of the CS, so that they can followup.

Whole day no news.. the next day, I can transfer out the funds and the stock disappeared.. a few days later.. wanted to buy stocks and TT to the securities account and ALAS, the stock suddenly appeared and appeared as Filled at the buy price on Monday !!! But now I can sell.. and the price is higher then my buy price so I happily sell.

Since I made a profit, no point complaining so let it rest.

can both transfer be done online or must go down manually and usually take how long to process?

i tried search the thread, too many pages, some said is free some said need charges so im kinda confuse which is the correct/updated version?

Thinking to sign up a SCB trading account.

I think need a bank account too right? And if I have shares to transfer.. documents I require will be:

1. SCB online trading form
2. Share transfer - CDP
3. Share transfer - SCB
4. Bank account form

As for the bank account... use e$aver?

e$aver Account

Min. initial deposit S$0
Min. average daily balance S$0
Fall-below fee S$0
Early account closure fee
(within first 6 months)
S$0
Counter withdrawal fee S$5

or

Bonus$aver
Minimum average daily balance S$3,000
Fall-below fee S$5
Monthly service charge $0
Credit card annual fee Free for 2 years (S$200 per annum)
Debit card annual fee Free for 2 years (S$15 per annum)
Cheque book charges 1st cheque book: Free
Subsequent cheque book(s): $15 each
Early Account Closure (within 6 months) S$30

Qns:
e.g. I use the $ buy shares then below the $3,000 daily average balance... need to pay $5 right? lol.

also thinking about the POSB/OCBC blue chip thing.. the gd thing is exposure.

you need to follow up with the RM that attended to you. tell the RM to check with the trading department. that will be faster.

also recommended to do at battery road.
