Isnt limit order safer? Since there is no min commission, u can queue at better price...

But how does it work ?
I do not set the price too low or high
It will only buy at my stated price right ?

And how abt selling all your shares guys ?
Is it easy or complicating as well ?

Becoz i don't hold the shares very long

u just set the price u want to buy/sell
if the price u put is very close to market price, usually the transaction will be done within a few minutes.

if you try to put too high, then the order will be cancelled if it is not filled by the end of the trading hours.

selling is same as buying

Just got my SC account and done with all set up but I am shock to see that there is no "market order"
There is only "limit order"

Anyone here able to buy your shares as stated ?
As far as I know, the price you quote must be 100% exact
Else you will not receive any confirmation

For example
If you quote $103.50
It must exactly hit that amount
In order for u to get the confirmation
Even 1 cent makes a different

I'm not sure if I am understanding you correctly... If you key in a higher price then the lowest ask price, it'll get filled immediately. Isn't that "market order"?

I keyed my "order price" as 38.20 and the lowest ask is 38.09. It got filled immediately.

If you're talking about selling then I can't help you confirm coz I've yet to sell anything via SC :s22:

i dont think SCB trades penny stock lower than $1. you need to check again.
That time I got a few shares below $1 (LOL!) they ask me what to do with it. They had a new policy last year about this.

I personally wouldn't trade penny stocks, especially not in a market now. but that's just me.

Oh yah
I totally forget about it
New policy since sep 2015 i guess

They do not allow trade below $1
Guess time to aim above $1 then

Haha

More your capital
Even 5% profit will be good money
As the commission is low
But i am starting off with small amount ;)
