u r right. i have both zenpad and the casing of each cant fit.
My Bad, yes, wrong infor....sorry, ppl.
Haha ASUS naming pattern very confusing. Took me quite a while to really understand most of their models.

Have you guys tried sourcing from taobao? Quite a number of cases and tempered glass there.

hi noob here,

i ordered a ASUS zenpad 8 inch z580c from amazon but forgot to check whether power charging is okay for singapore use. if i charge directly from wall socket here will it cause any problem?

I am asking this cause read before people buy electronics from US but the voltage is higher here and damage it permanently..

You can use ur existing smartphone or tablet charger to charge. Just that the charging speed might be slower.

Hi, are we talking about the Z580CA or Z581KL in this thread?
Also, where to get it in Singapore?

Got the chance to try out the Zenpad 3 8.0 (Z581KL). It’s actually a pretty nifty mid-range tablet.

Scoring points about this tablet, given its price ($499):
- Its weight. 320g, which is close to the high-end competition e.g. iPad mini 4. When you hold it, it actually feels light.
- The screen resolution: IPS screen 1536x2048, which is pretty crisp
- Good sound output
- Has 4G! But it’s a microSIM card slot…
- Knock to wake
- USB-C. Welcome to the future

However, there are the bads:
No flash. Yes, nobody uses tablet to take photos, but still, it’s good to have flash…
- Still not really into Asus’s ZenUI, though admittedly it at least uses on-screen buttons, which will be re-positioned to make sense with the tablet’s orientation
- In continuation of the above - too much bundled bloatware. Will prefer to remove them.

It’s not powerful tablet, but it gets work done. Also, you can use it for tethering of data when using overseas SIM card overseas! That’s what I always do for my tablets.
