SP3 has W8.1 Pro pre-installed, can I assume that it is x64 version?
Any machine that has at least 4gb RAM will have a 64-bit OS installed. A 32-bit OS cannot address more than 3gb of RAM.

Hi,

I not sure which Photoshop you may have, but I have information for MS Office you can refer to here for more accurate requirements.

Ms Office Requirement

My roughly estimation is at least 10 GB will be taken after both installation is done.

IIRC MS Office is pre-installed as a trial product, and requires only an product key to be fully activated. Thus, it should not use up any more disc space.

If within 7 days, I believe can bring back to Harvey and if over 7 days, contact MS for RMA

If not an obvious customer fault, by all means, send it back to Harvey Norman for a brand new replacement now before the 1-1 exchange grace period is over. Make sure you inspect and test the new set.

I have around 50gb left on my 128gb Pro2.

Taking into account I have the following installed.
1. MS Office 2013 Standard
2. PhotoShop CS5
3. Visual Studio 2013 Pro
4. Visual Studio 2008 Pro
5. SQL Management Studio 2014

Plus a few scraps here and there.

Hi lakenchin,

I have encountered this problem before. I have read that this is becos the surface went into "deep sleep". U can try to press and hold the power button for 10 sec then release the power button and press and hold the power button again and hold for another 10 sec. This might work!
