Just be careful with this router. Sometimes it turns hot while charging or using. You also need to ensure that it is properly shut down or your battery will be flat.

If your vaio is still quite new, may want to hold out for the Haswell 'possibly' announce late end of the year, with 3g.

Microsoft being microsoft, we can probably see it only next yr in spore. I may get pro 2 as well if price is not too far off.

what do you meant by "properly shut down"... i tot it is just a off switch.

quite old already, 2 batteries cannot hold charge already...


but if other brands launching haswell soon then maybe will get those...

so far, other places no drop price.
but this time got free touch keyboard if buy the surface RT also.

I wish they allow us to top up to purchase the type cover or at least let us choose the colour of the touch cover

personally i think the 'promo bundle' very lousy...more expensive than states and lousier deal than HK...best

to be fair, its quite reasonable compare to some other country like uk. marked up is also quite low compare with the US cost.

Hmmm... you're right actually - I did some calculations:

128GB Edition S$1,328 - if you divide by 1.07 for GST and 1.25 for currency conversion, we have US$992, which is actually better than US$999.
