I'd suggest more RAMs, 8GB is actually plenty good unless you are going to do a lot of PS, 3D modeling stuff but then, you should already know what kind of configuration you need as the GPU is still the limiting factor.
As for SSD storage, you really dont need that much storage of big files. If you do need, it is much more reliable to have backups anyway and they sit in your terabytes of external HD.
However, if you have an abundance of $$.. Get the best of the best!!@!!!one!

Actually to be frank, buying pro 4 is mainly for it tablet form factor with the stylus and able to run full Windows application. With $2678, can actually buy quite a good performance and ultra laptop if not wrong.
...I think this is the problem. Tbh the Surface Pro linbe up is never about bang for buck. There's a premiuem involved in it that have let me not to reccomend it to my friends or family. You want a coding machine? want better specs? look elsewhere. What the Surface Pro line up have is that Pen. I was a student and I take notes with the pen cause i type like a chao turtle and I do light photo editing (very light) on the side. Also for artists. I mean have you seen how much a Cintiq costs? Basically if you don;t really use the pen, You're better served by buying another Computer/Tablet.

Thats my 2cents.

Haha, that is so true. There is also the "cool" factor where "everyone is buying, i want one mentality".

What they forget is that SP3 now is more bang for buck and still function really well. It is more like a "want" rather than a "need" thats why MS can charge premium and even up the price

For those who can't wait for the SP4 stocks to arrive either in Nov or Dec 2015, time to snatch some good bargains, as Surface Pro 3 is still a very good choice and Amazon is cutting price down:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00KHQWRZS/

For top range i7 model with 512Gb SSD, it was retailed at $2698. After conversion from Amazon, it is now around $2,285. That's more than $400 savings!

For the i7 model with 256Gb SSD, it was retailed at $2,138. After conversion from Amazon, it is now around $1,800. That's more than $300 savings!

inclusive of GST? If ship in from US with these prices i think they will get held up and they will make us pay GST before releasing the parcel to us.

Even if you have to pay GST, it is still cheaper than buying in Singapore. Of course, it does reduce the savings fom this.

Lot number indicate which lot you are in, or which batch of orders. Lot 1 means first batch of orders and will get their set first.
