The m3 version is completely sold out, apparently. I was tempted to just get an i5 8gb but held back because 1.6k just felt a bit too much. So I ordered the from the Microsoft Store - it'll probably take a while to arrive but I can wait. Also didn't realise I could get 1% cashback from Shopback, so that's an extra bonus

Would like to ask if a tempered glass screen protector is recommended or necessary? I usually have that for all my devices but somehow the Surface looks like it'll do fine without one.

I've called tech support this morning and ask for it.

There is complete warranty for Singapore market.

So I've asked him to proceed to charge to my credit card.

Cost the same and will take 48 hours to reflect the extension.

So call.

Whole process took abt 30-40 mins.

Finally got a peace of mind, dont want to spend 2k+ for something that might last 1 year.

Make sure you go back to the website and check that it's listed as covered.

A question for those who had experience with the exchange process at kallang.

How do you know if the replacement unit your getting is brand new or refurbished?

was walking around IT show last weekend and I thought there was a special MS sale or something in one of the big booths. Everybody was using Surface. Then realized it's one of the telcos (starhub I think) and they are using it for all their transactions.

MS really made a good product. Good thing they didn't stop when it initially failed.

Think only RT failed.

Before iPad, there's tablet PC.

seems like lots of SP4 users despite the hefty price tag and limited 1 year warranty.
