Taiwan is selling Wifi version only and Malaysia selling LTE only.

I have ordered from Samsung Malaysia and friend going to help me bring back early July. Looking forward to receiving it.
How much was it?

1,099 ringgit. Local warranty only. So I am taking a risk.

Not bad. I was thinking of getting one during my trip to Manila in the coming week - around $380ish.

That's confusing. This is HWZ's announcement:
https://www.hardwarezone.com.sg/tech...b-80-inch-2019

More specifically:
The latest Galaxy Tab A tablet has an 8-inch WXGA TFT display (1,280 x 800 pixels) and is powered by a quad-core 2.0GHz processor with 2GB RAM.
But that is not the Samsung Tab A 2019 with S Pen (https://www.samsung.com/ph/tablets/g...M-P205NZAAXTC/), which has the following specs:
Processor

CPU Speed
1.8 GHz, 1.6 GHz
CPU Type
Octa-Core

Display

Size (Main Display)
8.0" (203.1 mm)
Resolution (Main Display)
1920 x 1200 (WUXGA)
Technology (Main Display)
TFT
Color Depth (Main Display)
16M
S Pen Support
Yes

Memory

RAM Size (GB)
3
ROM Size (GB)
32
Available Memory (GB)*
21.9
External Memory Support
MicroSD (Up to 512GB)

The former is running a Snapdragon 429.

The latter is running an Exynos 7904.

Looks like I'll have to get it from Malaysia.

I got mine from Malaysia at about $370. Qoo10 also selling now.

Just started using it yesterday. Its heavier than my Tab S2. Performance wise it seems the same.

Will you recommend it for note taking?

With just 1 day of use, I dun really know if it is really good for notes taking.

Personally, I love the S pen. Some people may find it too slim to be comfortable but I am ok with it.

I have an app that allows note taking and drawing, so i am very happy.

Only cross fingers that nothing happens, if not I got to go JB for the warranty.

Very nice!

Do words appear grainy? E.g. pdf? I have an old 8 inch Kindle Fire and it was too grainy to read off.

I am using this as an ebook reader mostly. Using kindle and reader for pdf books. Quality is good. Not grainy at all.

My current complain will be the lousy theme and icons. Looks like cannot change icons at all.
