so how is the pro 6 ? is it good in real world usage?

reviews are nice and all but i want some real world use reviews. i'm really tempted to get this but

1) the type cover is "folded" at the top when in "laptop" mode. i like resting my wrists on the keyboard, will that tiny fold give way?

2) i assume pro 6 runs full blown desktop windows 10?

3) if you use autocad or office, how is the experience in tablet mode? simple drafting and on site stuff only, the real work will be done on a desktop.

4) battery life good? brightness under the sun?

1) if u are referring to this part, nope it's very sturdy

2) yes mine its running win 10 pro

3) i do photoshop and illustrator on the device when on the move, i got old flower eyes tho. still able to see properly.

4) battery life is better than sp4, sp5.

based on ur requirement
you will need i7 and 16GB for autoCAD to run properly...
8GB can cry...
hence you will end up paying like SGD 3.2
do u really need surface pro when you are running autoCAD?
there are plenty of light laptop that is much faster and cheaper

the only reason i bought surface pro last time
because it was the lightest with decent keyboard last time with good built .. and i mainly use office application

nah, for light drafting work you dont need high specs.

my office desktop is a dinosaur with an i7 3000 series, some ancient radeon 7000 gpu, 8gb ram.

runs my sketchup stuff just fine.

im not doing highly complex machinery parts with a few thousand assemblies etc.
