same thing applies... u have to send your product for testing under our laws.

the difference is that because production does not take place in Singapore. The upper stream vendor of that manufacturer is not taken into account.

and if the supplier of the ingredient actually got the ingredient from another supplier it gets really complicated.

the instant noodle can be made in Taiwan but all the materials can be sourced from PRC

case in point, Mei Xin a very reputable bakery in Hong Kong also used lard that was made by this company. Good thing I am not a fan of por lor pao XD

mei xin is a real big company.
ya true.. we can check point A. how about the ppl from point B to point A.. even the other big bakery from hk has outlets all over the mtr.. also withdraw the goods..

sure the testing has shown that the sludge samples collected do not contain heavy metals and carcinogens

HOWEVER, the oils are still derived from highly heated used oils and oils which has gone through prolonged high heating are not fit for human consumption. The PH levels of the product is just too high.

the process in which the factory extracted the oil from the sludge also involved heating the oil again at high tempretures...

not immediately poisonous but still not fit for human consumption.
