Bcos I wanted to end my trip at Taipei, from there go airport easier instead of going from the opposite way round and end in hualien.
what I mean was you seems to make a deliberate trip to hualien (which is a slightly more than 2 hour train ride). maybe to me, there was pretty nothing much to do/see in hualien. I think most would use hualien as a base to visit taroko gorge.

Yes you are correct, I am going to the taroko place to check it out. I could go cingjing farm instead of Hualien but ultimately I decided to visit taroko bcos fk the sheeps 🤣

1. Depends on what you want to do at SML and if you going to 九族文化村. I rmb reaching SML at 9+(frm tc) and leaving at 3+(for cj).

2. Green Green grassland + little swiss + sunrise/sunset tour will be enough to fill up your day at cj.

3. There is bus from tc to sml (direct).
SML to CJ need to transfer at puli (pls note timing, very very important!).
At CJ public bus is close to non existance. Suggest to stay near little swiss or find minsu that is willing to provide transport foc. Cab is rather rare. Walking is the way to go.

I prefer this, at least you have enough time for both SML and CJ
From cingjing take E-Go bus to Taipei 600ntd per pax, around 12 - 1pm reach Taipei main station at 5pm. Break at puli winery.
You can ask minsu to book for you when you are there. In march only less than 10 pax in a coach.
Can consider if you are doing this route or use HSR to Taipei.
Thank you everyone for your feedback!! Really appreciate it! WIll do some more reseach and get back to you guys if any more questions!

雲瀑
Nov-Dec quite hard to get such good view.
Feb-April and Sept-Nov should be better.
Subjected to weather too.

hi guys, I'll be having summer studies at 政治大学. My parents plan to visit me so I'l trying to plan their trip. Should I be booking hotel neat my uni? My concern is that, it is actually far away from the airport area, and I'm not sure if there's actually anything to see around my uni. Anyone been there before?

Should I book accommodation for them now or after I've reached taiwan?
Is there any local travel agency that we can sign up so I can save time planning?

Lol most likely go for the cooked or grilled section but its not really near the mrt so unsure to go or not

Btw now is summer over at taiwan right? And weather today at alishan still around 18 deg c, cingjing 22 deg c and hehuanshan at 13 deg c? Is it normal because i tot it would be like genting highland around 20+ for most summer days
