U go one year, cannot be buying too bulky items right?
So end of the day, durable and light.
Try uniqlo.
They do sell good stuff.

U30 uniqlo confirm cannot... amazon is 1 idea. u probably just need to get 1 good outer shell wind/water proof then the rest layer inside.

with good outershell then in not so cold place u can just reduce inner layer

but U30 u need long johns/good thermal wear liao..

while i dont have experience to travel 1 year i often do solo backpacking trips for 1 - 2 months

i went europe with 6.5kg of carry on luggage only but that was just right before winter (oct period)

Thermal wear is good choice.

Thicker clothing does not mean it will keep you warmer.

The content/composition of materials matter. Goose down and duck down makes a difference. Down and acrylic and wool, etc also makes a difference. Doesn't mean you have a thick cotten jacket, it will make you warmer than a thin goose down jacket.

Yea been looking for goose down. Really hard to find. Canadian goose too expensive. Columbia seems to be cheaper.

yes, there are still cheap deals in china. some clothes are still manufactured there.

taiwan does not make clothings anymore i believe, thus not any cheaper.
