Get at counters at taoyuan metro.
It works for all.
If you still have time to spare, ask ard.
Surely there are ppl around you who has spares.

Thanks Andrew and Calkel...
My companions above 65 will have elder cards rates? Or only for taiwan citizens?
Cos if they are reliable for them, i need to buy from counters cos they need to verify?

I'll touch down 1pm at terminal 2.
So taoyuan metro is the place to get them?
I read there's a service counter after exiting the customs but not v sure it's still there or not

Taiwan citizens supposedly.
Even if you buy the card, not worth it as there is a non-refundable deposit.
The service counters are still there at T2.
But we seldom use it.

there are, but only 1 station sells them, not worth if u are not planning to do taiwan trip 4-10 times in next few years. meaning u travel like me, totally F&E for 14 days , no driver then easy card is worth the purchase
We even use easycard to buy food at 24 hrs mart so that we have much lesser coins to carry
else try to borrow.

Just buy easy card for each person, take bus/mrt just tap and go. End of trip, the balance amount can use in 7-11 or refund full balance but that card can no longer be use.

yea i also saw a scene like that when i was in xmd in oct 2017. those that have large pushcart selling tshirts, they literally cover the push cart with those clothes and abandon it.
