I juz came back from taipei. I don't seem to enjoy this trip at all

Shopping sucks.. food kind of sucks too... things are so damn expensive. Wufenpu boring place. The clothings there not nice & ex. one. Imagine everywhere u shop, every street and stalls all selling the stuff like wat far east plaza basement is selling very sian leh! My bf & I shop until pek chey! Frankly very ex.

I guess diff ppl hv diff taste. But frankly I think I still prefer HK.

btw, one thing to note. I realised they dun accept S$. I went to 101 building asking all the banks none accept S$. They said next time bring US$.
pricing of things in Taipe is more or less similar to sg, but u can find designs there where u cant find in far east. If u really want cheap and gd..itseither Bangkok or HK for u.

juz wonder where did u go and eat in Taipei? shldn't be that bad mah.

mei shuing hotel not bad but next time i will try the new moon hotel. I also prefer no breakfast one.. That time when i stay at meishunag ard the corner of a strt got the whole stretch selling breakfast.. their fried chicken buger is superb.. better then KFC.. their kopi also not bad... but not thick enough leh.. Frankly speaking those who come back from taipei also miss their food i guess someone goes to the "wrong" stores to eat... or maybe expectation to high..

Hey,

How come none of you tried the Taiwan local breakfast. Just ask the reception to point one out to you. Many of them Are 24 hrs.
Yu Thiao,Tan Bing,Sao Ping with Egg,Fresh Bean Milk. Xiao long Pao.
I do most of my shopping in Tian Mu at the Factory outlets there. It is not highly advertised as a tourist spot but it has a nice atmosphere in the evenings and on weekends. It is like most places, you either like it or Dont. Remember ,no matter where you go,youalways have to "hunt" for the Bargains.
Read about TianMu here:

one of my regrets is not being able to go to Tian Mu when i was in Taipei

juz saw a short clip of Fan Wei Qi showcasing some nice and sleek jap umbrellas in Tian Mu!!! Just press a button and it will close and open automatically, cool man!! Then she went to one Italian restaurant where she was served with 'western food' but its actually ice-cream! Looks so real man...haha.
