depend on u...other than the changing of guards wictake abt 30min ++
u might spend couple of hrs to see thru the exhibtions
can take up to half a day for each place
if u just glance thru, including watching the changing of guards, can take u just 2hr only

for me, one whole day at the National Palace Museum still not enough, there are about 6000 artefacts, too much to see.

@crazybunns : It rains - but are thundershowers i.e. it pours like crazy for 10~15 ins then nothing. so far, over the last week, this happens once a day. so no worries.
It is rather hot and extremely humid.

@princessy: NPM Has displays that change every 3 months so it is different. I really think about a couple of hours is enough if you are not too engrossed with this type of items.
Note, there is a Free shuttle from the Miramar Complex to NPM and Back.

5D4N itinerary

Hi! I will be going to Taipei next week. There is my itinerary and this is the first time I will be going to I hope can get some good advice . It’s a 5D4N trip!

Day 1
Arrive @ Taoyuan airport almost near 12pm. Reach hotel at 1pm? Check in at 2.
Taipei 101, Xin Yi District
Ximending

Day 2
Longshan Temple
Wufenpu Wholesale Market
Rao He Night Market

Day 3
Yangmingshan OR Jiu Fen (Which is better or more worth to go??)
Danshui
Shilin Night Market

Day 4
CKS Memorial Hall (Advisable to go like at 10-11am?)
Taipei underground mall
Zhong Xiao (Got any shopping place there?)
Shida Night market

Day 5
Where can I go for breakfast?
Ximending
Airport back to SG

Some questions:
-At which day should I avoid wufenpu?
-If I buy a lot of things and I want to use a courier to ship my items back, how should I do it?
-If my flight back to singapore is at 7pm, what time do I need to reach airport?

I also roughly calculated the expenses per head … Hope to get some advice because I don’t know how much to bring…

$250 = Food (Most probably eat street food almost everyday maybe only the last night eat restaurant food)
$100 = Transportation (Coach to hotel, MRT, Railway)
$500 ~ $600 = Shopping!

Do you think that’s enough?
Please advice!! Thank you!

I read on book that you should avoid monday cuz monday is wholesaler day...mean shop owners from all over tw will come and bulk purchase. So the the store owner(@wufenpu) tend not to give u much service/attention.
