hi guys,

is there any counter (say visitors' info centre or smth) at the airport where i can book all my HSR/TRA tickets ? or do I have to go to the train stations to get them? is it possible for me to buy, for eg. tickets from Hualien to Taipei at Taipei or must i purchase them at Hualien itself?

thanks a lot in advance !
U can reserve the tickets online then collect the tickets from Taipei main station counter.

Hi,

a question on XMD hotel.. anyone stay at neijiang before? how is it?

Is taipeiyork better? which is nearer to mrt / xmd ?

thanks!!
I was staying at neijiang 6 nights last week. overall was very good, near mrt, reasonable room size, big bathroom, clean sheets, towel, room and courteous staff etc.

notice these small cockroaches crawling around the tea/coffee making facilities. actually the whole place looks clean. have feedback to the hotel. hope they improve on it.

near the end of trip my friend in another room fell in the wet bathroom and injured quite badly and needed a few stitches at the hospital. then we realized there were no shower curtain in most hotel in Taiwan and the floor tiles in neijiang is very wet n slippery. we were pretty shaken by the unfortunate incident. again hope the hotel can improve on this.

Hi,

Too many posts, and cannot search for "May" as it is too short.

Considering going to Taiwan in April or May 2011. Prefer April but due to possible work commitments, May is a safer bet. However, from what I see from average monthly weather data, May is a bit hotter and a bit wetter than April. So question is, is mid May still considered a good time (although may not be as good as April) to go Taiwan? Main purpose of visit is of course sightseeing, shopping and eating.

Thanks!
