yah i was quite shock as well...there were no middle seats...and it was quite small and in-flight entertainment was quite spartan...but the movies shown were decent enuff...slept most of the time though

Rainbow best liao!!

If ur stay is over a weekend then may have the best view for an outdoor concert in ximenting.

Check with the hotel for a window view over the traffic junction.

dun think got student rate. check at zuji,com.sg for rough rates.

u can also book a free-and-easy tour with travel agencies...it will be cheaper on ur accomodation and got free lunch or breakfast

no need pray hard, i find china airlines the safetest as local pilots know the ground for chiang kai shiek airport better (which is a maze without grd radar) :laugh:

light moments aside, there is no comparision with SIA when it comes to planes, all below 10 yrs old, def reliable

Hi,

I'm going to taiwan in Sep for 2 wks,
arrive in taipei, and depart at kaosiung.

Decide to travel from north to south to complete the whole taiwan trip.

Can anyone recomend any budget hotel in kaosiung for under 1000 NT???

Oh btw OT a little bit, wanted to buy a digicam, would it be cheaper to buy in taiwan or at the coming comex

u sure u can COMPLETE Taiwan trip in 2 wks time?
Where r the major places u gg to cos i find that 2 wks not enuf

I'm staying in taipei for around 5 days,
going to hsinchu, hualien, taichung, alishan, kaosiung,

is there any more places i left out, I'm going for 15 days so i guess should be sufficient.

haha... can get a cam here with additional batts and memory... carry light, travel light...

Arggghhh!!!!

If I get a camera I would be too broke liao.
Then I end up going around shooting pics and less shopping,
really want to bulid up my portfolio of the "Cai" there.
