Any other suggestions for comparable hotels in the XMD area?

Anyone know where I can book those things online? We basically want a package that will bus us around the whole island and include hotels and stuff.

Is taipei child-friendly

hi, i read thru about the last 60 pages of the forum and has gain much insights of taipei and taiwan. But i notice that there are no discussions abt bringing kids there(abt 2 years old)
I will be going taipei from 23 Oct to 28 OCt travelling by jetstar and accomodating at One Star Hotel. Will be going with my wife and kid(2 year old), my first time visiting taipei, wonder there is any advise from you guys here about bringing toddler to taipei.

for example, any places that are child- unfriendly and should refrain from bringing a toddler there?

Hi ninja 1943, don't go to the website, call straight to the hotel, the staff there very friendly. I just took abt 4 mins to get my bookings done. The rate for the accomodation is quite cheap, 88 bucks per night. I think there are others which can offer cheaper but this hotel is new thats why thought value for $$

Correct.
Now the Temp is down to 21C at nights(Cool) and the day temp highs are 26C.
The pavements are Wheelchair/Stroller friendly , same with MRT stations which have ramps. Also Elevators at most stations for the people with kids, Handicapped and Old People .

All night Markets has stuff for Toddlers, some from NT50up (Nice stuff) Kids stores like -Why and half - often have good discounted stuff in a Clearout box not damaged just oddments. Nearby, there is a Day Market called Chung Cheng Market off Po Ai Rd. Nice stuff there as well not to much but it is a good day market. Not far from One Star.
