hi anyone can help....

i want to know how to travel from XiMen to YeLiu
Take MRT to Taipei Main Station.
Go to the Back of Taipei Main Station to the Kuokuang Bus North Terminus. Get a bus from there to Yeilou. Cost NTD80/- Trip a bit over 1 hr.

http://www.himrt.com.tw/mapedit/map19.htm
Look left of red letter "C" - 8 9 10 in brown color. The Terminus is there.

I spoke to the people at Toroko. Currently only 2 trails are open. Others should be ready soon but nothing confirmed. One is too damaged for repair.

Therefore paying a bit more for a cabbie and going to other locations as well as the Toroko would be okay too. Also , a lot of time would not be wasted picking up people at other stops as mentioned by someone earlier.

http://www.himrt.com.tw/mapedit/map19.htm

In the Map, Around the Station, there are LETTERS in RED Color showing bus stops. On the left side of the Red Letter C, on the top of the Map, there is the underground mall exit nos in Brown color 8 9 10.The North Bus station is there. It is marked : Kuo Kuang Motor Transport N.Station.

From Jioufen the Keelung Bus will take you back. These buses have destinations No Number, Just ask anyone.

Miaokow is very close to the station , just walk - Go to Jhong 1st Road to Ai 3rd Road and turn right to the night market. or ask for directions , it is not far at all. .

IN Hualien ,the guided tour should take you to these places:

Hualien Train Station → Taroko National Park Visitor Center → Shakadang Trail, Statue of Aksobhya (The Imperturbable Bodhisattva), Ning-an Bridge, Yinho Waterfall, Swallow Grotto → Tunnel of Nine Turns → Eternal Spring Shrine → Local Specialty → Chihsing Lake → Return This costs NTD550 without Lunch.

Since only two of the trails are open, you can also add Cisingtan(A Pebble beach) , Liyu Lake , Hualien City markets e.t.c. See what you can add.

See whats interesting at the site below.

http://tour-hualien.hl.gov.tw/chinese/index.aspx

How many in your "group" ??

I would think NT 550 ~ NT650 per head 8hrs ~ 10 hrs. If there are 4 of you in your group, then NT550 should be okay.
