Starting Dec. 7, 108 branches under Chunghwa Post Co. throughout the island will offer exchange of four foreign currencies -- the U.S. dollar, the Yen, the Euro and the Hong Kong dollar.
This is in adition to the Nominated Banks that exchange All foreign Currency here.

Wu Fen Pu

Thanks for the advice Hongge! Was thinking of how to squeeze in Jiufen too.

Btw, I read in this thread that Wu Fen Pu only starts at 4.30pm... is that true? If it is, does it open earlier on weekends?

Thanks again!

HI
Wufenpu (Inside area) generally opens up after 4.00pm. There are other garment shops outside on SongShan Road, and the roads that Circle Wufenpu that open earlier. According to one forumer, there are more special offers on Weekends than on Weekdays.

I just came back from taiwan this week, been to WuFenPu. The shops are opened till ard 1~2am for fri-sat. If you want to go during the weekdays or sunday, better be early, or else there's very little shops left opened.

After CKS ,You can walk down to the President's office, not far ,then continue walking down the road which is Chong Shing Nan Rd.After this You will end up on ZhongXiao W Rd, Cross the road and enter the Front Mall of the Taipei Main Station MRT , the other mall is at the rear of the Station. After these, go to Guang Hua, then Zhongxiao Fuxing Mall Then Sun Yat Sen, Then !01 and Warner Etc, Then you can do Wufenpu later and after that Raohe. If you Exit Wufenpu on the side on Songshan Station, just walk across the bridge to get to Raohe, It is not necessary to take a taxi. By that time it will already be late. It is a long way to walk toThe Taipei City Hall MRT from Warner to get to Houshanpi, I normally wait for bus 284 at the stop outside Warner Village. (NT15)

This is following the Route of the Road without going back and forth on the MRT.

wow~ imo i think u spend too much time in yurenmatou. u dun have to go so early but if u did, dun wait till the bridge light up. est tour time in yurenmatou should not be more than 1.5hrs. danshui lao jie quite worth more time exploring. i was watching shi zhi lu kou recently and they were filming at 淡江大学。over there got a street selling lotta food and alot university students work there. looks gd~ maybe nuttyazn knows abt the street?

follow nutty advise ba~ after 9pm maybe u would like to experience ximending night life quite fun

Day 4 (Mon):

Guessx3 Recording

both option1 and option2 are gd~ but since ur tour is a short 1, i suggest u go for option2. it will be more meaningful. night time go huaxijie / longshan temple after reaching taipei or ktv

Day 5 (Tue): Depart Taipei 6.25pm

0830 – Breakfast
0930 – Longshan Temple
10.00 – Ximenting

skip longshan if u went earlier as i suggested
